Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that TenderMet uses at tendermet.co.uk.
1. Strictly necessary cookies and storage
These are required for the platform to work and cannot be switched off. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) they do not require consent.
- Authentication / session — set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in and to refresh your session. Stored as a cookie and/or in your browser's local storage. Typically lasts from the current session up to the lifetime of your sign-in session (commonly around 30 days) unless you sign out.
- Security — short-lived values used to protect sign-in, password reset and form submissions against abuse and cross-site request forgery. Session duration.
- Payment / fraud prevention (third party) — when you are sent to Stripe Checkout or the billing portal, Stripe sets its own cookies on its pages for payment processing and fraud prevention, governed by Stripe's cookie and privacy policies.
2. Analytics, advertising and preference cookies
TenderMet does not use advertising or marketing cookies, and does not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies in the application. We do not sell or share browsing data. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Any preference values (such as interface settings) are stored locally in your browser and are not used to track you across other websites.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site data). Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in or using the service. As we currently set no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner to configure.
